For those wishing to build a custom Samurai sword, we offer these bare blades in shirasaya. All are forged and differentially hardened in the same traditional fashion as the "forged" and "forged and folded" line of swords.
The XC-4901HS has the same geometry as the Shinto Classic blade but is ungrooved to facilitate its use in building a cutting sword. The XC-1321HS folded steel blade is that used on the Tiger Katana and includes the grooves (bo-hi) featured on that piece, while the XC-0321HS is the same blade without grooves.
